RiseUp: Single-Family Rooftop Solar Program
RiseUp is a single-family rooftop solar initiative under the Texas Solar for All Coalition, powered by a $3.4 million subaward from the Texas Cities and Counties Coalition and managed by Harris
County.
This program supports our mission to deliver clean energy access to the communities that need it most—low-income and disadvantaged households across Texas.
RiseUp creates immediate, measurable benefits for under-resourced families while building a replicable model of community-driven, clean energy access across Texas. The program exemplifies our commitment to:
RiseUp will deliver rooftop solar to 100-plus qualified homeowners, helping reduce utility bills, increase home value, and provide long-term energy savings.
Target Communities
The RiseUp program will launch in five cities selected for their high energy burdens, climate vulnerability, and strong potential for community engagement:
- Victoria
- Seguin
- Corpus Christi
- Tyler
- Longview
