Steve Anglin

Director, Lending & Investment

Steve Anglin serves as a Director of Lending & Investment at Clean Energy Fund of Texas, where he leads capital structuring, banking and investment relationships, and financing strategies for clean energy projects in underserved communities.

He brings over 20 years of experience in clean energy, corporate finance, and strategic project development. Before joining, Steve founded and led Utopio Inc., a minority-owned renewable energy company specializing in modular solar microgrids, long-duration energy storage, green hydrogen production, and water desalination. Earlier in his career, he served as a Vice President at JPMorgan in OTC derivatives product management and at GE Capital in structured finance, managing multi-billion-dollar portfolios.

Steve’s expertise spans capital stack structuring, federal and state incentive optimization, and public-private partnerships for large-scale clean energy deployment. He serves on advisory boards for the Clean Energy Buyers Association, Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology, and Hudson County Community College, and has spoken at industry forums including NY Climate Week and COP26 preparatory session. He holds a BS and Executive MBA in Finance from Rutgers University and is Project Management Professional (PMP) and Six Sigma certified.
