Shahara Wright serves as SVP, Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel at Clean Energy Fund of Texas, where she oversees legal strategy, compliance, and internal operations.

She brings over 25 years of distinguished performance in both the legal and business sectors. Before joining, Shahara was the founder and lead attorney at The Wright Firm where she navigated complex legal landscapes and strategic expansions for fast-growing seven-figure businesses and nonprofits.

Her nonprofit counsel includes extensive work in board management, grant compliance, and operational policy development. Shahara is a three-time Houstonia Magazine Top Lawyer and a 2024 Texas Super Lawyer by Thompson Reuters. She holds a JD from Texas Tech and a BA from Hampton University.
