Brook Abitz

Director of People & Operations

Brook Abitz is the Director of People & Operations at Clean Energy Fund of Texas, where she leads human resources strategy and operations to support a growing mission-driven team.

She brings over 10 years of experience building HR functions in both private and nonprofit organizations, including a clean energy startup and a public-policy think tank. Her work has centered on inclusive hiring, culture scaling, and modernizing people operations to align with impact-focused missions.

Brook holds a Master of Science in Public Policy & Management from Carnegie Mellon University and is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR).
