Patricia Zavala

Patricia serves as Executive Director of PowerHouse Texas and The Texas Energy and Climate Caucus, bringing her expertise and leadership to drive impactful change in the energy and climate sectors. She previously contributed as a Program Director at Workers Defense Project and as a Senior Policy Analyst for Jolt, a prominent Latino civic engagement organization. Patricia also worked with the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, focusing on transnational climate solutions alongside the UN Climate Vulnerable Forum. She earned two master’s degrees in Public Affairs and Latin American Studies from the University of Texas at Austin, following her undergraduate studies at the University of California Santa Barbara. Patricia’s commitment to advancing sustainable practices extends to her role as a member of the Board of Directors for the Texas Electric Transportation Resources Alliance (TxETRA) and the Clean Energy Fund of Texas.
