Shannon Ramirez-Conklin Named Chief of Staff at Clean Energy Fund of Texas
Experience in financial sector and local government will add to the team
HOUSTON – Shannon Ramirez-Conklin has joined the Clean Energy Fund of Texas as the first chief of staff for the financial services partner aiming to save money and energy for thousands of low and moderate income Texans.
Ramirez-Conklin brings over a decade of diverse professional experience to the Clean Energy Fund. A seasoned professional in stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, and relationship development, she has a proven track record of success in both business and government. Her expertise lies in project management, public affairs, and leadership, with a strong focus on collaborating with diverse stakeholders to drive growth and excellence.
“This is a crucial moment for the green economy, and I’m honored to join the Clean Energy Fund of Texas to help steer this innovative financial services partner to help more people save money,” said Ramirez-Conklin. “I have always been passionate about helping more people access community benefits and improve their situation, and I’m ready to dive into this part of the movement.”
Ramirez-Conklin previously served as a scheduler for Texas State Senator and Houston Mayor-Elect John Whitmire, where she was instrumental in supporting legislative session and district office operations. In her role as Director of Boards & Commissions for the City of Houston, she worked closely with outgoing Mayor Sylvester Turner. She played a key role in identifying and screening candidates for over 2,000 positions on the City’s 155 boards and commissions.
Ramirez-Conklin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Houston’s C.T. Bauer College of Business. She is also an active community member, currently serving as a Board Director for the Houston BARC Foundation.
